Certificate
The PRSSV Certificate is a Level 4 qualification. It provides those
who have passed Grade 8 with a chance to focus on developing their
performance skills. The demands of the certificate compare to a first
years of study in Higher Education.
A candidate wishing to appear for the Certificate in Performance (Cert. PRSSV (Performance)) must have obtained a pass at Grade 8 (or equivalent) in their subject.
For the PRSSV Certificate in Performance, a candidate will need to perform, answer aural questions and sit a theory examination in accordance with the requirements of the syllabuses.
For the PRSSV Certificate of Teacher Competences (Cert. PRSSV (Teacher)) a candidate will have to be regularly teaching, must be 18 years old and have passed the PRSSV Grade 8 or provide evidence of equivalence. There are three units which cover the various teaching and related skills and knowledge required to train pupils for Level 1, 2 and 3.
