- PRSSV offers training in Indian music and dance subjects and in Heritage skills.
- PRSSV provides a training programme in performing arts for those who want to become professional artists or teachers, or those who want to learn as a leisure activity.
- PRSSV also offers training in heritage subjects to individuals and community groups. This training is bespoke and provides members with the skills required to complete a project and support their and their orgnisations’ development.
- As part of its holistic approach to learning different faith, linguistic and regional groups are catered for.
- Tutors are all professionally trained, DBS checked and follow an agreed course programme. Tutors are given continual professional development using methods such as coaching and shadowing.
- Courses are offered in a range of community venues across London as well as for organisations such as schools. Courses are delivered through weekly or group lessons, workshops, lecture demonstrations and projects.
- Courses are open to students of all backgrounds and all ages.
- The educational work of PRSSV is developed through partnerships with a wide range of organisations in order to provide students with different avenues for using their skills and showcasing their talents.
- Students are given access to accredited qualifications.
- PRSSV provides support and information to teachers, students and their parents including support through e-learning channels and the development of learning materials.
